Information you provide

• Account data. When you sign in (for example, with Google), we receive your name, email address, profile image and a unique identifier from the authentication provider.
• Resume & CV content. The resumes, CVs, personal details, employment history, education, skills and any other information you upload or enter. This may include sensitive personal data depending on what you choose to include.
• Job descriptions & inputs. Job postings and other text you submit to be tailored against.
• Communications. Information you provide when you contact us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. Pages visited, features used, credits consumed, timestamps and actions taken within the Service.
• Device & technical data. IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system and approximate location derived from your IP.
• Cookies & local storage. Identifiers and preferences stored on your device (see Section 10).

Information from third parties

• Payment data. Our payment processors confirm transactions and provide limited billing details. We do not store full payment-card numbers.

We use personal data to:

• provide, operate and maintain the Service and your Account;
• generate tailored resumes and other AI Output in response to your requests;
• process payments, manage credits and prevent fraud;
• provide customer support and respond to your communications;
• monitor, analyse and improve the Service, including its functionality, performance and security;
• send service-related and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out of marketing at any time); and
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

To tailor your resume, the content you submit is transmitted to and processed by third-party artificial-intelligence providers acting as our processors. This is necessary to deliver the core feature you request. We take steps to work with reputable providers and to limit the data shared to what is needed to perform the task. Please avoid including data you do not wish to be processed in this way.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Contract. To provide the Service and fulfil our agreement with you.
• Consent. For optional features, certain cookies and marketing, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Legitimate interests. To secure, analyse and improve the Service and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation. To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
